I have a Diamond D3400.4 and an 8ga - 4ch amp kit from Knukonceptz. After reading some threads regarding power/ground sizes I ordered some 4ga wire with spade terminals that accept 4ga but will fit where an 8ga terminal will. Well the power and ground inputs on the amp are right next to each other and I'm starting to worry if it's safe to have the wires basically rubbing against each other. My question is, is it really necessary to go 4 ga or would 8ga work to run a pair of comps and a pair of coaxials? The amp is 50x4 @4ohms. Inputs are next to each other and same size. This doesn't leave much room for heat shrink or the little terminal covers. Would this setup be ok? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
