Searched through the forums could'nt find anything similiar. Getting a pretty basic cheap setup, i just built a sealed enclosure for a 10'' dual voice coil audiobahn rated at 4 Ohms 300 RMS. Now according to ohms law I would need an amp that is rated at 2 Ohms. If i use a 2 channel amp, 2 Ohms, 150 RMS per channel and use each channel to power a voice coil would this be acceptable? Would i have to ensure that the amp is producing a strictly mono signal so i dont scew up the sub? I would try just bridging a 2 channel; but it seems most amps in my price range offer bridging at only 4 Ohms which would be unaccpetable for my single sub? somebody clear this up for me please so i can buy an amp with peace of mind. thanks
