Ok, I am absolutely set on Incriminator audio, and after hours of watching videos of these subwoofers slamming and flexxing cars I have been convinced on the IA DP 21". I have an Orion HCCA 250r, 1ohm very stable a\b. This amplifier as most know puts out a very underated 800wrms@11v . So, with the DP 21" woofer thermally capable of 1500+wrms I will essentially be under powering the driver. This said, If I tune this driver to say 50hz for spl oriented application, and it hits a freq lower than tuning per say 30hz note. Am I looking at damage ? With such a large driver I am hoping to get around 140db and I will be jumping like a kid in a candy shop. I listen to 90% rap, and I know tuning high would be for rock, but snoop dan tuned his mj18 to 50hz, and I believe he is where I got this understanding from. My van seems to resonate alot when hitting around the 40hz area. 2.) If instead the drivers fs pointing to a low tuned enclosure for the driver for best results and just wanting LOUD yet still somewhat accurate response what would you guys suggest?
