I bought new dual 12'' subwoofers and they require a rms of 500watts (250w rms x2) but right now I only have a 250w rms amplifier. The new subs came with another amplifier they has similar specifications as my current amp. I was wondering if I can add this amp onto my car and run my subwoofers at optimal settings. here are the parts i have NEW CRUNCH P500.2 2/1 CHANNEL CAR AMPLIFIER AMP 500 W - eBay (item 390163383721 end time Mar-29-10 11:25:57 PDT) this is already installed onto my car and these are the new subs and amps i got New Visonik 1000 Watt Dual 12 Inch Subwoofer Amp Combo : eBay Motors (item 120537524199 end time Mar-02-10 18:41:32 PST) (i bought visoniks because I had a previous model of their brand they were pretty good for the amount I paid for) by the way, i'm new to car audio and I've been trying to do research. Does anyone have any sites that I can read up on? It took hell of a long time to understand RMS and peak wattage. thanks!
