New here but not to the audio world, however I am new to running DC subs. I recently put in my order for a single level 2 8 D2. I was wondering how much abuse can one of these handle powerwise? I am for right now going to be running a Power Acoustik BAMF 2000/1. It has some pretty good ratings I know its not true rms but its saying RMS Power Rating: 4 ohms: 600 watts x 1 chan. 2 ohms: 900 watts x 1 chan. 1 ohms: 1200 watts x 1 chan I know I can wire a single at either 4ohms or 1ohm. COming from experience what would you guys suggest. I will be ordering another one after he holidays if Santa doesnt bring me one for Xmas. I'm just curious to see what these little subs can take. Any input would be great or suggestions. Not looking to buy another amp as I'm trying to finsih the truck its going in and I have some other things to finish before I go audio crazy.
