The easiest way to do what you are asking is go into the itunes advanced preferences and make the external drive your iTunes music folder location then check the two options under it. Then go to the advanced menu bar and press consolidate music library. After doing all of this, all of your music that itunes is linking to (reading from) will be on the external and you can then delete any copies of this music that you have anywhere else on any other drives.</p></blockquote><p></p>
