Best advise I give (especially if he has a DB meter) is be kind, and not a dick. Cops hate ass hole kids. If he has a DB meter, just be straight up. "Lets give this a try and see where it goes." And be sure to ask him if you can test your limits and see where you have to be with your settings to make sure you are legal. Let them know that you are picking that spot to be curtious to the local businesses and was trying to avoid shaking their building while fully enjoying the equipment you put in your car. Good luck bud. Also. Cops aren't dicks, they are doing their job. Just because you don't like the law doesn't make you above it. Like I said, just be straight up and nice to the guy, he'll probably be alright back. That is how its went for me. I've gotten the cops called on me numerous times in my neighborhood when tuning and tweaking. Once they come, i go "too loud." Cops are always like "yeah, a neighbor complained." We always talk for a minute, they pet and play with my dog (a rot) and its never too bad. One day they came and told me not to bother turning it down and that I must just have a Asshat neighbor because they couldn't figure out were the music was even coming from, I had it at like 20 out 40 that day, and I do have a Asshat neighbor.
