So it boils down to pretty much being your speaker wires maybe hitting each other while you are turning and shorting out, or I would put my money on the ground wire loose or just in a bad place. Where do you have it grounded, did you sand it down real good, and check to make sure it is still tight.The first thing that I would try is checking all of the speaker connections and the wire all the way along, make sure nothing is touching, then I would try and relocate the ground, you never know you may have picked a bad place.
