Message: <blockquote data-quote="xxxbluemystic" data-source="post: 6263177" data-attributes="member: 611638">ok so today i went and was going to switch out my fuse holder to a anl holder and found that the awg holder that was 80 amps had melted but the fuse was fine. so i switched the holder out anyway to 100 amps, i turned the car on to test the system before i put everything back and the protetion light came on and the subs seem to be making a constant thumping (the cones on the subs move into the motor and release and make a thump). i disconnected the subs and the amp is still in protection mode, the amp does get hot but its a 3600 watt peak with a rms of around 1600-1800. why could this be? is the amp burned out? bad ground?need some helpthanks</blockquote>
