The kid(he is 16) has never powered them up. But he purchased them from a gentleman that is supposed to have won the indy truck bash with them. I am unfamiliar with the MT model and did not know they were more of an SPL sub. I do not compete. The system I have now is kind of too much for me. I never listen to the thing full tilt, rarely over -3 out of 7(on my clarion). I am curious how loud the thing is. I would love to get it metered. I like having the power on tap too.. if not the MT's, what 18"s would you recommend?</p></blockquote><p></p>
