i was just going to run a 4g (or if i need to a 0 ga) from the stock chevy battery to the optima yellow under my backseat. then id run another 4 or 0 ga, to a fuse holder, then to a distribution block. and of course id ground the second (optima) battery to something close by. i don't really listen to music without the truck on, so its not a huge issue of draining either battery. but wouldn't the optima (being larger and stronger) try to charge the stock battery? im guessing that is why its suggested to snag a battery isolator when installing the second battery. thanks kyle
