Hi all … I will be starting to put a budget system together for my truck soon. I am looking to drive a single Memphis 10” 4 ohm DVC Sub, its RMS is rated at 250w. After reading some pretty good reviews on it on this site, I’m thinking about getting a Profile AP1040 to power it … 80 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms and 225 watts RMS x 2 bridged output at 4 ohms. I decided on a 4 channel to power the door speakers when I upgrade those. The door speakers will either be the Alpine SPS-17C (50w RMS) or the Infinity Reference 6012i (60w RMS), both coax. Would the Profile AP1040 amp be a choice for this type of setup? I’m just looking to have a decent clean sound, not too loud or flashy. Thoughts and opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance.
