Problems/Proper Hookup w/ Kenwood Amp

Someone said I have a mono amp but it says Stereo/Bridgable.I not sure what the subs are, if they are single coil or dual. 2or4 ohm. idk. im a noob. I look up some info and i have it hooked up Stereo. Sub + to the + on amp and - to - on amp. I also seemed to notice they dont hit as much and hard as they seemed too.
