I unscrewed the screws behind the ashtray so that now the bottom bends out, but something is holding the top in place. I'm afraid to just pull it out because that is where the A/C controls are, and I would not be happy with myself if I damaged that. I pulled the A/C slider knobs off, but the console is still attached at the top. If anyone has any remote idea at all as to what could be holding it in place, I would be forever grateful.Cordially,John</blockquote>
