Message: <blockquote data-quote="dan45hk" data-source="post: 5841525" data-attributes="member: 570846"><p>I have a '94 Corvette with Germaniums in the front and rear (6.5 components).  The rear enclosure is sealed and probably has 2 cubic feet, the front is semi-open and has maybe .5 cu feet.  Anyways the front/rears are hoked up to a Zapco 1000.5 giving 150 watts rms to each speaker.  The gains are all the way down and if I turn the gain up just a little the protection light comes on for the Germaniums crossover.  They get loud enough for me but this doesn't seem right, I think they are rated at 100 watts, do I have a bad component somewhere either the crossovers or speakers?  Or maybe a bad connection, has anyone had this problem?</p></blockquote><p></p>
