Message: <blockquote data-quote="locotony" data-source="post: 663708" data-attributes="member: 558185"><p>Remote wire is good give about 13v when amp is on amp is rated at 400x1 at 2ohm, I am runing a ED 13Kv2 Dual 4 ohm vc wired in parallel and it reads exactly 2 ohms at the amp. no overheating issues either, sometimes the amp comes on and plays fine up to around 30-31 on the hu (where I have the gains set for, and yes I used test tones and a multimeter to set them 28.28 for the sub 14.14 for the comps) Other times it will switch on and off right when your turn on the car.  I am beginning to think either one of 2 things now, an intermitant short to one of the speakers, or the protection circuit on the amp has a bad IC with intermitant issues.  If anyone has any experience with the Soundstream Van Goghs your help would be greatly appreciated.</p></blockquote><p></p>
