I've heard so-so things about the type-r subs but great reviews in terms of quality about the type-x's plus I like the way Alpines hit.  The cost isnt really a factor I just dont know anyone who has used Alpines, they use mainly Audiobahn heh. The 15" is obviously bigger with 750RMS but i'm not sure if the 12" at 1000RMs would pack the bigger punch if properly powered both at 4ohms.  The MRD-M1005  V12 amp would probably be aside it unless you have any other suggestion.  Thanks in advance.</p></blockquote><p></p>
