I recently purchased a GM-6300F amplifier to replace an old GM-5100T to power my Pioneer Premier 12in subs. The max power output for the old GM-5100T was 760X1; 150X2. The max power output for the new GM-6300F is 120X4; 300X2. My understanding is that since I am powering two subs, the new GM-6300F should provide more power to the subs. However, hooked up the amp barely pushes the woofers. How can this be? I'm excellent and install and wiring, but components stump the crap out of me. Thanks for any help you can offer.
