I chose this for the 4 line display, steering wheel control compatibility, and USB support (for a thumb drive), plus it had some really great reviews from owners.&nbsp; I went to a car audio store today to listen to different speakes.&nbsp; I wasn&#039;t inpressed with any of them, expect for some Alpine SPR-13S (5 1/4&quot; - for the doors).&nbsp; These sounded really good to me.&nbsp; I was also looking at Boston Acoustics S45 to replace the 4&quot; speakers and Kicker KS690 6x9&#039;s for the rear deck. These were based maily on price and reviews read on Crutchfield&#039;s site.I&#039;m not looking to spend a ton of money, but I&#039;m not looking for a system that will be the envy of all my friends either.&nbsp; I want something that will sound good.&nbsp; I&#039;ve been told not to worry about the 4&quot; speakers in the rear deck and just use 6x9&#039;s, but I haven&#039;t heard a really good set of full range 6x9&#039;s yet.&nbsp; Some see to be good for bass, and some have better highs.&nbsp; My reasoning for using the 4&quot;s would be to have the best of both worlds, and have more control over the sound since the 4&#039;s would be running highs and the 6x9&#039;s would take care of the lows.&nbsp; I&#039;ve also heard that most of the sound should come from in front of you, so I shouldn&#039;t worry about the 4&quot;s in the rear deck, but I&#039;d like to be surrounded by sound instead.As far as money, I figured $200 on the Kenwood head unit, $125 for the Alpine SPR-13s, $90 for the Kicker 6x9&#039;s, and $70 for the Boston Acoustics S45&#039;s.I figured I&#039;d try to take advantage of some of the experience I see on this forum, maybe get some advice on better selections then what I have listed.&nbsp; Thanks in advance!!</blockquote>
