My next choice is the Premier 780 but I&#039;ve read plenty of threads about screens going dead. I&#039;ve gone to a shop and listened to the 780 vs the 4000 and the 780 was noticeable nicer on FM (I didn&#039;t have a CD) but I&#039;m sure the 4000 wasn&#039;t adjusted anywhere close to it&#039;s abilities. My question comes down to is the long term durability/realibility of the Premier&#039;s going to be that of the Eclipse&#039;s. I don&#039;t know that I&#039;m going to get 9 yrs out of a CD4000 either but I&#039;ve at least got a history with Eclipse.Sorry for the long post.
