So my 01 Chevy Silverado Extended i got used for 4500 from a really good friend of my dad. Well he had a bazooka tube 8" in it when i bought it and some 4 channel 300 watt amp i cant remember. He got it wired from a shop im guessing cause he doesnt know how to do that shit and its all under the carpet and looks clean. Under the hood instead of hooking the power wire to the actual battery he has a seperate housing thing for his positive. Well when i installed my new/old setup i had 4 gauge wire to use and i ran from that housing. Well turns out that bolt is kind of big and the terminals i was givin didnt fit that bolt so i cut it So it arced andd burnt and now doesnt work unless i hold it in place. So ive been to like 12 local car audio stores / radioshacks and no one ****in has 4 gauge ring terminals that fit. let alone 4 gauge... So i was wondering if i had to use a terminal or is there a way to like chuntily make it work for the time being untill i order my 0 gauge and what not? Sorry for the long post lol just felt i had to explain it. Thanks
