My question is I wanna install an 80 watt powered sub next its a sound solutions b-8p. So I was wondering what would be my best option would be for the power wire would it be better to install another power wire separate for the sub I think I would be ok with a 10 gauge or can I use a distribution box with the 8 gauge then run 8 gauge to my amp and powered sub. The total watts would be 280 my power cable is 16.5 maybe a little less and if I did my math right the amps would be about 41 for the powered sub and the alpine amp.
