Anybody know if the radio or head unit behaves the same way as a double din Pioneer 4400 NEX radios? On the pioneer the radio stucks on the screen, not able to go anywhere. Then they have go in again and reconnect the long green parking brake wire to the black wire to use the DVD. However, on the car play and android auto, Power Acoustik’s double din radio, a brown wire which is the mute function for incoming calls is used for by passing the parking brake wire. To use DVD. Not connected to the parking brake wire is the brown wire then. Does anyone know how this radio might behave when left alone? Not connected to the parking brake wire or not grounded. Connected to the chassis. Of which connected to the chassis is the bypass. DVDs can play now. Thanks for your input. That has a DVD and all the versions like it. Not necessarily the correct ID product number, but the functions are the same on this one. Not sure of the product number because that info is immaterial for the purpose of our discussion as they all function that way. Not important is the ID product number for this discussion. Assuming there is no recall and it’s just a little bug in the design and can handle by the tech guys.
