I already have some of the equipment that will be needed to do this install, but I need some help deciding which way to go for the remaining pieces of this car audio puzzle. Below is a list combining the equipment I have, with the equipment I'm thinking of getting. What ever equipment I decide to go with will be going into an 09 Mazda3i. Head Unit: - Eclipse CD5030 (do not have) http://www.woofersetc.com/p8165/CD5030--Ec...-Technology.htm Front Stage: - Rockford Fosgate P1682S (do not have) http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=14402 Rear Doors: - Keeping stock for now Component Amp: - Kicker 08ZX200.2 (do not have) http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=20098 Subwoofer and Enclosure: - Audioque HDC315 D2 copper coils (have) - Fisher Customs built 4.5cu^3 after displacement tuned to 38hz (have) Sub Amp: - Audioque 2200D (have) I have plenty of 0/1 wire to do the big3 and run from front battery to amp or rear batt/s My question here is how much electrical do I need to supply the current demand of the above amp without dipping below 13v on music? I know the rating on the amp is 200A, but I've heard that you won't get close to maximum draw unless playing sine waves? I'm probably going with a Kinetik KHC1400 up front, but I'm not too sure after that. If the price of batteries gets to high, I might just say **** it and go with a DC Power 220A alt with an MLA module if one is available. Also, I was thinking of box placement being sub forward/port foward on drivers side sealed from the trunk. Now, my question here would be is this the best placement for daily beating where it will be loud to the ear, or would you recommend a different placement? Thank you for taking the time for reading my somewhat long post and for any advice you folks may have.
