So I'm in the process of hooking up an amp of mine and for some reason there is no arc coming from the positive end of the battery like I'm accustomed to seeing. Generally when I run the first part of the wire from the battery(+) to the fuse and connect the second run from the amp to the fuse I always see an arc before I connect it. So I went ahead and disconnected the negative on the battery and ran everything in to the positive end and put the negative back on and still nothing. I even ran just a single run of wire off the positive post and touched some metal with it and still no arc. The vehicle starts up just fine but I can't seem to get any response off the positive end with the wire I'm using. Help?
