I bought two feet of 3" pvc pipe and I will purchase my mdf as soon as I get my hands on a pickup. I am going with a 17" port and a 1.25 cu feet box for a 28 hz tune. BUT the only thing left that I am unsure about is whether the location of the port makes a difference or not??? Will it affect anything if I just put the port in a random location ?If it does matter this is where I am planning on putting it: Pretend I have a picture of the box and the sub is facing you. The port will open on the right side of the box in the upper back corner and will reach all the way across to the other side with like a 4" gap between the inside wall and the port. Ya get it?
