You could correct it on your amp But I have seen the headunits on some of the older civics (2010ish) and they did not seem like they would have any EQ or xover settings.</p><p></p><p>My guess is that there is a small amp somewhere powering the speakers and that has a built in crossover. Amping your speakers by themselves would bypass that amp and you now would control everything those speakers see with your own amp.</p><p></p><p>Also, just get a headunit.
