[QUOTE="Zesty, post: 3304036, member: 579961"] Ok I am pretty sure I have things down as far as tools, materials, and procedures. I still am clueless on the actual port design of my box. Box will be for one Soundsplinter RL-P15. I can fit a box w/ internal dimensions of H X W X L 8.25 X 22 X 35.5......the rl-p15 has a displacement of .18, so I subtract this and get almost 3.55 cubic feet of internal volume. I want to tune this box to 28hz. I honestly try and fathom these formulas for calculating port size, but I truly just don't get it. I really need some guidance here. What direction should my port face? The subwoofer will be firing upwards, and I really don't have any other options due to space. Is internal bracing going to be necessary for me? Thanks in advance.
