I Apologize, I Didnt Read All Of The Post Before Postin My Last Post. I Do Believe That Its Not Ya Subs Anymore, But Ya RCA's, Or Both! No need to take it to a shop and waste money.. 1. Connect An Ipod Directly To The Amp Using A Y-Cable (1/8" Mini To RCA' Cable). A. If It Plays Find, Then Its Your RCA's. B. If Problem Continue, Then Try The Next Step. 2. Testing Your Amp And Sub. A. Using Another Amp, Connect Your Sub. a.If It Works, Then The Problem Is Your Amp b. If It Doesnt, Problem Is Your Sub. A. Using Another Sub, Connect It To Your Amp. a.If It Works, Then The Problem Is Your Sub b. If It Doesnt, Problem Is Your Amp. In My Opinion, If It Was Your Amp, You Wouldnt Be Gettin Anything To Your Speaker.. When I Blew My 12's. I Had The Same Problem U Did.. The Hum. But I Blew My 12's And Sort Circuited My RCA's. If The Above Steps Doesnt Find Your Problem Then Take It To A Shop.. But Like I Said, Im Pretty Sure Its Ya RCA's Or A Blown Sub... Did U Disconnect Your Negitive Wire From Ya Battery Before Do Any Splicing Of The Wiring Harness On The HU? I Think You Didnt. And The RCA's Heads Touched Eachother Causing A Thump, Possibly Blowing Ya Subs, But Also Sort Circuiting Ya RCA's. CHECK UR RCA'S. Cuz If Your Subs Are As Good, As You Said, Then Chances Are They Hit Harder Then The Thump Caused By The RCA. So They Might Not Be Blown.
