The DEX-P9 is the SQ part. Do understand that I had the DEX-P9 for about a month before I got the DEQ-P9  and the sound was incredible.......and this is with my previous deck being the Premier DEX-P1R.......another deck that can't be touched. I did'nt buy the P9 combo cause I thought it was better than the Nak, Eclipse, F1, Excelon......ect.  I bought it for one thing, the features, the other was brand loyalty.</blockquote>
