whine problem? more like whine problem solver! I went from a NOISY, WHINY, and frustrating P960 (basically a dual faced P860 FYI), to the 880 and I have zero noise at all in my system. I just wish I had figuered out sooner that it was bad RCA grounds. I spent countless hours troubleshooting my amp and headunit grounds and spent money that didn't need to be spent. Personally I have not heard this at all about the new 06 decks, or the 880 specifically being a problem. But if by chance it is, you can always just ground your RCAs with leftover 18 guage remote wire. EDIT: SQ is amazing. Auto TA and EQ are cool. (These features never worked on my old unit either, I guess due to too muchnoise being induced in the system when it was trying to perform the tests.) It is better than my P960MP. Period.
