[QUOTE="midwestdivision, post: 4507749, member: 592257"] finally got it out. ended up going to bestbuy, getting the keys which didnt help because the hu is bolted in. well i tore the dash apart and learned some more about my setup. well the aux cord i was talking about early goes to a Y with two rca jacks. they then plug into two rca jacks that go back into a single cable and then has a small plug in that plugs to the back of the hu(it is labled front output). this is why my ipod doesnt work. the previous owner just went to radio shack and installed a 2 to 1 aux cable and pluggd it in. and as stated before, the "blue" plug slot is empty...i assume this is where the ipod hook up would go? why would there be an AUX setting on the hu if it doesnt already come equipped to play it? so my question is?...what is suppose to be plugged into the two FRount Output jacks? i also have two rca jacks already plugged in to another spot of the hu which are then run back to my amp. i was hoping to find these two wire loose, which would help to explain why my amp reads current overload as soon as the radio is trned on but this wasnt the case.
