Message: <blockquote data-quote="lbn.wrks" data-source="post: 8924764" data-attributes="member: 694771"><p>thanks for the reply. yeah, thats also weird to me. i belive its the same unit that had different face plates. on mine it says deh-p7700mp on the body itself and the faceplate. ive tried a faceplate from deh-p6900ib i also have. the screen didnt come on but the volume worked, and you can skip to previous tracks when cd is played. some other buttons also made a beep sound but dont know what they did since the screen was dark. so thats some progress. the remote also didnt work on the 7700 plate. so im 90% sure its the front pannel</p></blockquote><p></p>
