The XXX mids can play all the way up and had no problem at 5k and higher if you need to. But its all up to you how you like it to sound.
wow, I ran a similar setup! Tweeters and everything except for I used the active crossover in my headunit. I liked the Vifa tweeters but just did not have the sound that I wanted. I am still looking for a good pair or tweeters to match up with my XXX mids that can take the power! Though Im sure you will like what you get from that setup, hang in there. It will take you a wile to dial in what sounds good for you. I will let you know what I had when I was using that setup: Sub = down-85hz at 12db slope mid = 85hz-5k at 18db slope tweet = 5k- up at 18db slope or: Sub = down-85hz at 12db slope mid = 85hz-4.3k at 18db slope tweet = 4.3k- up at 24db slope That should give you an Idea to start with and you can go from there.... I tell ya I did change it alot and tryed alot of combo's. I think you should start at 5k on the tweeter and work down if you can wile increasing the crossover slope to 24db to even 36db if you can, if you can get it low enough. The XXX mids can play all the way up and had no problem at 5k and higher if you need to. But its all up to you how you like it to sound. I wish I could do it over again because It was so fun setting it up the first time! I wish I can find a tweeter I like though, its hard to find a place that will only let me listen to a tweeter for my stage, instead they want me to buy the whole set... Good luck, and have fun!! P.S. Nice dead/hot pixels you have there!
