I have a Kicker L7 (now known as the L5) 2ohm DVC hooked up to a Ti400.2 (yes, I know that running @ 1ohm will cause the amp to gon into thermal shutdown) But recently I was driving home from work and it just shutdown permanently. Since it was out of warranty I cracked the sucker open and thoroughly cleaned out the insides with canned air. I plugged it back in and nothing. On closer inspection, I noticed that the red overload turns on for a period of 4 or 5 seconds and then shuts off, until I turn the car off and back on: repeat. So I'm wondering if there's somewhere that'll repair it for a decent price, or if I can conduct repairs myself. Thanks in advance.
