About the time I get the gain turned up to were the sub is getting some good excursion it makes this popping like plastic hitting plastic sound when the bass hits. Does this mean my amps clipping or is that just all this sub has and it's bottoming out?  What should be my next step to try and fix this? I hate to build a new box for it if that is really as loud as it gets cause if thats the case I'll just sell it and get something else like the new audioque subs when they come out.
