Message: <blockquote data-quote="dennit469" data-source="post: 6679693" data-attributes="member: 585423"><p>i have a toshiba laptop that gets maybe 40 minutes off the battery before its less than 10% battery life, its not even a year old, my dad and brother both have toshiba laptops that last about the same which sucks, i had a hp laptop for about 3 years and the battery life NEVER got lower that 1 and half hours, close to 2 if i was lucky, anyway my aunt just got a mac book pro and that thing lasted from like 8 to 1130 or so last night before i had to plug it up, if nothing else the battery life is appealing to me on a mac, any reason why windows based laptops are so bad with battery? i know the macs and pcs both used lithium based batterys and i just dont see how mac can get such much time out of theirs compared to other companys, any idea of what i can do to?</p></blockquote><p></p>
