[QUOTE="basshz, post: 8500004, member: 667942"] It's going to be tough (not impossible, just really hard) to cut your box size and still trying to gain output. Hoffmans Iron Law...there's no way around it. When I built my proof of concept PR system it was a quick throw together kind of box. There may be software out there that can model PR systems but I found it was easier and quicker to just do it on the fly. That's the beauty of PR's, they are tuned by mass. If your cheap subs modeled best in a bp6 you might want to look at a transmission line with less drivers (down to two versus four). A mass loaded transmission line might also be of interest to you. Overall you will have to sacrifice one to gain two (efficiency, extension, small enclosure). Two 12 inch PR's to four 8 inch subs is do-able especially in an iso loaded parallel bp6. My series tuned bp6 has been performing very well with a bandwidth of about 28hz to 80hz. Admittedly it is massive (43 inches wide, 6ft long, 16 inches high). I am remodeling soon to shrink it down some (less drivers = less required space) but overall it will still be a big box (down to 4.5ft versus 6ft). Even at 4.5ft, it will still be about the same dimensions as my old transmission line for six 8 inch subs except I'm gaining more cone area using 12 inch subs. And these are cheap subs to boot.
