I built this system Christmas 2002 so most parts are a little over 3 years old. The original video card was the 8500dv and last year I upgraded to the 9800 Pro. I softmodded it to the 9800 XT but I never overclocked it past the stock XT speeds. The 2400+ has seen a core speed of 2.2ghz, but with air cooling, and lack of wanting to achieve speeds I'd never run at 24/7 I didn't push it any further. I never abused it, and it has been run at stock core speed over the past year and a half.
I kept almost all of the original boxes that I received the parts in as well as manuals and whatnot. I did the wire mod on the motherboard so the CPU's multiplier is unlocked. I really liked overclocking with this Gigabyte motherboard, all adjustments are made via switches on the motherboard. Currently, the fsb is at 166 and the multiplier is lowered to achieve a stock core speed. The higher fsb allows for better overall system speed, as opposed to the stock 133mhz fsb.
I would supply more information about each individual component, but Google will provide plenty of information, and whatever you can't find out with Google, you can ask me about.
I am selling because I purchased a $2000 Sager laptop over the summer for usage at college, and I thought I would use both systems equally, but I am now using the laptop exclusively so I decided to part out the desktop while it was still worth a little.
ALL PRICES ARE WITHOUT SHIPPING. I prefer Paypal, but I will gladly accept other payment methods.
PM or contact me via AIM for more information. Don't hesitate to ask questions! I will supply pictures upon request.
Thanks for your interest!
