Message: <blockquote data-quote="Phatillusion" data-source="post: 611644" data-attributes="member: 541271"><p>Vernon Maxwell went into the stands years ago and he got 10 games if I remember correctly.  Stern made an example out of the wrong person.  There were fans on the court for crying out loud, that should be proof enough that Artest wasn't the main problem.  If those fans hadn't thrown the beer, nothing would have happened.  But Stern see's an easy way out by placing all the blame on the NBA's bad guy.   He has had a reputation for singling out the NBA's bad guy.  He's moved on from Rodman, to Artest.  I wonder if Artest can appeal the suspension.  Personally I think that an unbiased group of people should determine the suspensions.</p></blockquote><p></p>
