Message: <blockquote data-quote="boulderbronco" data-source="post: 1587563" data-attributes="member: 564877"><p>I have an Orion 900.2 that I will be using for my 12" subs.  I will be running it at 2ohms 450 Watts per sub.  I want to give the amp 4 gauge power and ground inputs but the connectors are for 8 gauge.  That to me does not seem to be enough wire.  Is there any 4-8 gauge reducer for such an application.   I will be running  a total of around 1500 Watts for the whole system so I am running 1 guage main wire to a distibution block.   Also can I run a 1 guage ground directly to the battery?  I have always gone to the body but I feel like a direct connection to the battery would be better.  The body is not as good a ground as the frame would be.  I don't want to go through the body to the underside where the weather can get to the connections.  Thanks.</p></blockquote><p></p>
