I checked my grounds and fuse, they are all fine. and ive checked the subw ith a multimeter, they are not blown. Do you guys think my amp is fried? I contacted an amp repair place and they told me my amp sounds like it has a bad output channel and it needs needs output FETs, bias resistors, and a 'D' driver I.C. replaced to repair the channel. They gave me an estimate of 165$ to repair. Anyone know of any other places to repair amps for cheaper also?

[QUOTE="yo0123yo, post: 2269000, member: 562528"] OK this is something i've never encountered. I just recently sold my box so i put my subs in a new box. everything was working good for about a minute once it was all set up, all the sudden after a minute the subs just started popping, no music coming out of them, they were just popping constantly. They keep popping even when the volume on the head unit is at 0. and when i turn it up the popping stays at the same level. If i disconnect the rca's they keep popping but if i disconnect the speaker wires then they stop. I checked the grounds, all wires, fuse and all that sh*t, i have no idea what it can be. When i start the car, the lights dim a little when the amp turns on then the subs just keep popping constantly, and the amp isnt going into protect or anything. I know for a fact my subs are not blown i had a lot of people check that out, no one knows whats wrong. My subs are two 12" Kicker L7's and amp is an orion 2500d. I checked my grounds and fuse, they are all fine. and ive checked the subw ith a multimeter, they are not blown. Do you guys think my amp is fried?
