I personally benched 2 sundown 3000's and found that @ 14v they do about 3200rms berfore clipping, and yes i used a fluke clamp and a fluke vom and a scope to get results. I also benched an opti 2000 and got 1994 rms @ .7 ohms before clipping, i'd say its a very good amp. it's rated @ 2000 @.5 ohms, and im sure it will do that at that impedance. for the price the opti is a good choice, and just for the record i have a few friends that run sundown and are happy, not trying to knock sundown just stating that alot of the numbers you'll see regarding these amps are taken with no measured thd with the gains wide open. I don't understand why people insist on ragging on a brand or amp that they have no experience with.</p></blockquote><p></p>
