Hi folks, just joined up and I hope this forum can give me some direction. The last car stereo I installed was a Pioneer cassette in my NEW 1981 Mustang. This one's going in a 1989 Corvette coupe, the old Bose stuff is toast but probably was state of the art in it's day. I am looking hard at the Pioneer X5700HD head unit, has all the bells and whistles I want, running 2 4" door speakers and 2 6x9 rear speakers. Looking at the Infinity References for those. Also want to install a Pioneer A4604 480w power amp to add some clarity, not looking to rattle windows. If I wanted to add a single small sub to this mix, something like a small Bazooka, can I wire it all up and still keep my F/R fader and L/R balance controls on my 4 full range speakers? Any opinions on this set up, other set ups or installation in these cramped cars would be greatly appreciated. All this new equipment is beyond me and I'm going into this blind. The mandatories in the head unit are HD radio, variable panel color to match the famous/infamous 1989 digital dash and CD player. The rest I'll probably never use. Rick
