For kicker subs, the Brutus would be more than fine! I ran a Crossfire BMF 1000d on a 12" L5 and it slammed pretty hard. I just didn't care for the muddy bass that the L5 produces. I would tell you my preference but your wallet would run out of the room screaming! Here is a hint, it took me the better part of a year to obtain the Linear Power amplifiers that I am planning on using in 2009! I still have 4 that need to go to TIPS for modification and I am waiting on two of those 4 to make their way over to me:D Ah hell, I will tell you my other preferences because had I not been able to locate the Linear Power amplifiers I would probably be running something from the following manufacturer on my subwoofers: Rockford Fosgate, Sundown, Digital Designs, or Zapco. For my front stage I would more than likely be running Sundown, Digital Designs, Zapco, Audison, or DLS. I am not a fan of Rockford Fosgate on mids and highs!
