aight im new to this forum but friends have told me its a good one and i wasnt gettin any help at some others so i decided to come here. Id like to get a few opinions on my first setup for my x-cab s-10. all i haver had in there b4 was 2 l7 12's in a box that wasnt even built for my truck but it was pretty loud but this system i wanna get built to fit my truck and id like to get a few opinions. I have a alpine cda-7892 h/u and i have two kx850.2's and 2 l7 15's 4 ohm (2004 model). i want to wall my truck off and give them about 5.7 cu ft a piece ported. that 40 inches tall, 40 wide and about 15 thick. and i have a set of polk audio 6.5 component set speakers. my questions are... 1. they want to chrage me 1300 dollars to build a box, yellow top battery, 1 cap, dynamat my roof, and install everything 4 me. They said it would cost so much because the box would have to built inside my truck. does htis sound right?? 2. if they wall off my truck where could i put a set of speakers so that i could have highs to overcome the bass? 3. do u think this system will break into the 150's?? if im gonna spend this kind of money on a system i want it to be louder than hell. thanks for the help wes
