So I find myself with a decision, and I'm not sure what to do. We bought a new vehicle and find the sound to be lacking, so we want to add some bass. I have 2 options and I'm not sure which to go with. 1: use a single 10" pioneer premier ts-w2504spl. Takes up less room, adds bass but doesn't get insanely loud. 2: use 2 x 10" jl audio 10w3v3. Obviously takes up more room and adds bass that can get insanely loud. I also like the look of the cones more. Either way I'm going to be buying an amp and a box and installing them in the vehicle the same way. And both setups will take approx the same amount of power. So, opinions?
