Hey all, I'm sure this is a noob question, but after googling, searching, and doing all the other research I could there was still no clear answer. I have an older car - 1950 Willy's Jeepster. Having the interior done I want to install audio - nothing too fancy, but good enough. The spacing is narrow and I want the speakers hidden as much as possible anyway so I'm looking at the following: front kick panels - 4" (JVC CSV427 - 4 ohm, 20/160w) rear seat side panels - 4" (JVC CSV427 - 4 ohm, 20/160w) rear storage area - 6x9" in sealed boxes (JVC CSV6937 - 4ohm 60/310) 4-channel amp (FLI FL900S-F2) - yes it's not the best head unit - (Kenwood KDC-448U) My thought are to run the 2 6x9's on the rear channels (l/r) and the 4 4" on the front channels (l/r). Will I have an impedance problem running 4 speakers on 2 channels and should I do series or parallel cabling on them? Some have suggested running the 4" off the head unit and the 6x9's off a 2-channel amp. I don't want the 6x9's bass only so not sure how would work. Thoughts and ideas welcome. Thank you
