I have a dual 2 ohm sub (diamond D6), and wanna wire down to 1 ohm. The problem is, i dont know if i should prewire it to 1ohm, and then connect it to either of the + -, or if i should run two runs of wire, one to each voice coil? Ive heard that when the subs outputs are like this, they are wired internally for a parrallel impedance to the amp. If this is true, then if i prewired it to one ohm, and connected it to the amp, it would yield a .5 load, right?editi had each voice coil on each speaker outputs, and it wasnt very loud, but it did sound AMAZING. i just wish i didnt have to crank up the gains to 1/2 to even begin hearing it.</blockquote>
