[QUOTE="bikejunkie223, post: 1376880, member: 563147"] I wil preface my following comments with this: Texas played better and earned the win and my congrats to Longhorn nation. That said..... There were so many mistakes by SC in that one.... 1: Reggie Bush's ill-advised lateral attempt 2: Leinarts pick down near the goal line 3: Officals blowing the call when V. Youngs knee was clearly down and giving them the TD 4: SC's total inability to do anything about V. Young who went buck-wild on them- he had like 30 of 40 passing and 200yds rushing w/ no sacks or picks. And I though Reggie Bush was the human video game! If V Young comes back for another year of college he is an idiot- his stock will never be higher than the performance he gave today. I expected USC to win this game, and they should have but stupid uncharacteristic mistakes and 2 blown 4th and short attempts (especially the last one) cost them a third national championship. I think if this game was played 10 times USC would win 7, but they play it once and USC got beat. Props to Texas- this was the first time I had seen them play this year, and they are pretty unimpressive, except for that freak at quarterback- he carried that team, and the defense came up huge on a couple of plays for the win. __________________ David Carr is fine- the line is horrific- did you see how many times he was sacked this year? The texans are a train wreck. V. Young is a fantastic college player, I am just concerned he would be another Mike Vick- running quarterbacks don't often fare well in the NFL, though Young seems to have better accuracy throwing from what I saw, but this was the only time I saw him play, and he played out of his mind last night.
